Polar Bear on the Coast of the Chukchi Sea

Shapran Andrey, Freelancer, Russian Federation
Polar bears are excellent swimmers who can cover more than 100 kilometers. However, these mighty predators cannot always resist the elements. After one such storm, residents of the Chukchi village of Enurmino discovered the corpse of a polar bear, an extremely rare occurance even for these northern whereabouts.
