Jae-Mann Bae

Head of Digital News Department, Yonhap News Agency
Jae-Mann Bae is a graduate of Hankook University of Foreign Studies (Bachelor’s in Journalism) and Sangmyung University (Master’s in Photography). He started his professional career as a press photographer at Yonhap News Agency’s photo desk, then rising to the position of Chief at the photo desk. Later on, he went further up the company’s career ladder to his current position of Chief of the Digital News Department. He also served as vice-chairman of the Korea Press Photographers Association (KPPA) in 2011. Moreover, Jae-Mann Bae holds “The Monthly Best Photojournalist Award” which is given by the Journalists Association of Korea several times.
