Anna Peralta was born in Atlanta, USA but spent almost her entire life in Spain. She descends from a sage of photographers and Photo Archive professionals. Her father Hugh Peralta was Photo Manager at Reuters based in Spain and Portugal. Anna Peralta started her professional career at EFE 20 years ago, developing W/B films and completing photo assignments. Prior to the promotion, she was an enthusiastic Photo Editor with experience in working in photojournalism top events, breaking news, sports, coordinating picture desk teams, with a wide view of the competitors and the market itself. At the moment, she is the Photo Director at Spanish news agency EFE and has been managing its Photo department from June 2019 onwards.
