A patient critically infected with the coronavirus Delta variant, now being treated in the ICU. Most of the hospitals with ICU beds are occupied in Dhaka. The increased rates of infections and deaths every day are alarming. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reports that based on the latest figures, there are 1,365,158 Covid infections and 22,897 deaths.
